One console for the whole assault: who they are, what they own, where they're soft, what it costs us to take it, and what the wire is saying about them today.

The read — how we take this market

  • Don't out-club them — out-flank them. Golf Genius owns the committee. Nobody owns the foursome. That is the door, and it is unlocked.
  • 12–18 months to become the default app inside buddy trips and men's clubs. Needs The Pencil™, dual-entry and PULT to feel inevitable, plus word of mouth from a few hundred trips.
  • 24–36 months to be the credible alternative a club pro considers instead of renewing. Needs event ops parity: pairings, flights, printed cards, association exports.
  • 4–6 years to take share at scale — and realistically it ends in an acquisition offer first. An installed base of verified handicaps plus a settlement ledger is the asset they cannot build without buying it.
  • Unfair advantage: shipping velocity out of the India pod against enterprise roadmaps that move once a quarter.

Cost of total parity

$4M

To rebuild every core product on this board.

We don't need all of it. The kill path is four workstreams and roughly $284K — money engine, verification ledger, trip OS and tournament parity.
